By
now the Italian league championship has started for 2001/2002 season and begin to outline the performances of the
teams.
Between
the better teams there are: Milan,
Inter, Juventus and Roma.
But
there is a team that has just been promoted from the Second Division and has
been dominating for three weeks at
the top of the list, his name is: Chievo Verona.
His
name derives from a Verona district, that is a town situted at north-east of
Italy. This team has amazed all the people. At the beginning of the league
championship nobody thought that Chievo Verona could
arrive at the top of the list even if this was the dream hoped-for and finally got, from a lot of inhabitants of Verona.
Chievo
Verona isn’t a team particularly rich, his budget for this championship is
only 24 billions lire. Somebody will say that 24 billions lire aren’t much,
but is enough to compare with Roma that spends this figure only for the bomber
Francesco Totti without considering
the cost of the other players.
The
question that has arisen in many football fans is: “Why do Chievo win?”.
The
most plausible answer is that the players of this team really want to win they
are satisfied of a salary cheaper
than the players of other famous teams.
At
the moment all football fans ask if Chievo will manage to remain at the top of
the place-list or if this is only a moment of fleeting glory.
Even
if I think Chievo
Verona is a good team I believe that the better Italian football team is Milan.
And you, what do you think about that?
